Original Balloon Candles

I think balloon candles are a great idea! Who invented them? Especially if you are using different colors in the dipping process, or for the inside filling. But have you ever thought about keeping the balloon candle hollow and using it as a votive container or a hurricane shell?

First Things First


Safety always comes first!

So let's rehearse the 4 basic safety rules for wax melting:

  • NEVER leave melting wax unattended
  • ALWAYS use a double-boiler, never melt wax directly on the stove
  • ALWAYS use a thermometer for wax temperatures
  • ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher within reach
